Basten Home Inspection originated out of my father and grandfather’s construction repair businesses that spanned over 70 years in the Green Bay area.

I grew up working with my father, Gary J Basten Construction, who specialized in basement/structural problems. After graduating with a degree in construction administration from the University of Wisconsin Madison, I saw a need to educate home buyers on the condition of homes prior to purchase.

Basten Home Inspection, Inc. was established in 1987. We have since built a quality and professional reputation as experienced home inspectors that cover the Northeast Wisconsin area. We have performed over 24,000 home inspections in the past 30 years!

The construction legacy continues on with the addition of my sons, Drew and Blair Basten. They both graduated from the University of Minnesota with degrees in business and design. Their attention to detail and thorough examination of homes has proved to be a strong asset to Basten Home Inspection.
